MONDAY AGAIN

Well, another busy weekend has come and gone. I was fortunate to be able to run with the TNT group on Saturday. We ran (for the most part, barring a few minor arguments) the Madison 1/2 Marathon Course. It was cool, windy and a little wet, but we managed to do it okay. Surprisingly enough I wasn't sore on Sunday and I did manage to get my 3 mile recovery run in just fine. After the run Coach Jackie talked to us about nutrition and preparing for the marathon. I have been wearing my heart rate monitor which also tracks calories burned for all my workouts. These long runs I'm burning better than 1000 calories a time!

James managed to get his 13 miles in Sunday morning as he decided to come home from hunting on Saturday. He too said he wasn't really sore. It might be a good sign for both of us. Jury duty began this morning for him and luckily it was decided his services would not be needed this week. He still has to report for next week.

The remainder of the week James will be on call and I will work lots - including the entire weekend to cover a training we are hosting and to train staff. I have invited teammates over to run tomorrow night as it is the only night I have available this week. We have 9 miles to do. Hopefully, I won't be sore after that run!
